The service of e-boarding passes is now available for passengers of Elizovo international airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (part of the Airports of Regions holding). In order to use the service of e-boarding passes, a flyer needs to get registered online and download an e-boarding pass to his or her mobile gadget. The bar code or QR code is then scanned by special equipment during the preflight security check as well as at the time of boarding. We should remind that in order to proceed to the security check zone, passengers shall produce their identity cards (documents), apart from the bar code or QR code. Like before, you may check in your baggage at check-in counters, regardless of the chosen check-in mode.
The e-boarding pass is a full analogue of the paper boarding pass, containing all essential information about the flight: flyer’s initials and surname, flight number, departure date and on-board seat number. Pay special heed that the e-boarding pass service must be confirmed by the airlines operating the flight. It is necessary to make sure before the flight that your carrier provides this service.
