Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport Administration Meets with Representatives of All Nippon Airways, Japan

The Elizovo international airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (part of the Airports of Regions holding) hosted a working conference between the administration of Kamchatka’s main airport and representatives of All Nippon Airways (ANA) – one of Japan’s largest airlines, an official carrier of top Japanese officials.

The purpose of the Japanese delegation’s visit was review and assessment of the airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky as a reserve terminal for ANA’s flights over the trans-Pacific route connecting Southeast Asia with North America. During the meeting the sides discussed a possible contract for ground services to be provided for ANA’s airliners including Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Boeing 777. The working session resulted in ANA representatives appreciating the quality of ground services for aircrafts at Elizovo, the level of infrastructure at the terminal as well as the capabilities of airfield equipment and vehicles.
