Elizovo Airport reviews half-year results

In the first half of 2021 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky International Airport (Elizovo) (managed by Airports of Regions MC) delivered its services to 304 thousand people, which is 1.8% less than in the same period of pre-pandemic 2019. Meanwhile this figure is 54.9% higher than the traffic in H1 2020.

During H1 of 2021, 49% of passengers used flights on the Moscow route. There are now up to 16 weekly flights from Elizovo to Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.

Passenger traffic to Vladivostok, compared to the first half of 2020, grew by 43.4% to 57.7 thousand passengers. Traffic to Novosibirsk (+34.8%) and Khabarovsk (+32%) has also increased. As part of regional air services in Kamchatka Territory, Tilichiki traditionally topped the rating of popular destinations with more than 4.6 thousand passengers using flights to the administrative centre of Olyutorsky District.

During H1 2021, airlines performed 2,402 flights (+8.7% year-on-year). The majority of passengers were carried by Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A320NEO and Airbus A319 jetliners. In January - June, the route network of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport was represented by flights to 31 destinations, of which 16 were regular flights.
