Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport Sums up 2018 Results

The Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky International Airport (Elizovo) (member of the Airports of Regions Holding) summarized operations in 2018. The flagship airport of the Kamchatka Region serviced 697 thousand passengers from January to December, which is almost 6% above the like period in 2017.  Domestic passenger traffic was 674.4 thousand people (+5%) and international traffic amounted to 22.7 thousand passengers (+44%).
Flights to Moscow, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk and Tilichiki, traditionally enjoyed the highest demand among passengers as of the year-end. Novosibirsk, Moscow, and Vladivostok took the lead in the rating of steadily developing domestic destinations. A considerable increase in the passenger traffic on international flights was recorded for Phuket, Nha Trang and Krabi destinations.
Airlines completed 3,557 departures in 2018 (+2%). The bulk of passengers was carried on board of Airbus-319, Boeing-777-300ER, Boeing-777-300, Boeing-737-800 and Airbus-330-300 airplanes. Aeroflot, Aurora, Rossiya Globus, S7, Kamchatka Aviation Company and Pegas Fly serviced the major portion of passengers.
